Padosan is a comedy film, Director – Jyoti Swaroop and Producer – Mehmood, N. C. Sippy, and written by Rajendra Krishan. The movie is a remake of the Bengali film – Pasher Bari (1952). The film stars Sunil Dutt and Saira Banu while Kishore Kumar, Mukri, Raj Kishore and Keshto Mukherjee play supporting roles.

Storyline: A simple man – Bhola (Sunil Dutt) from a village falls in love with his new neighbour, Bindu (Saira Banu). He seeks the help of his musical-theatre friends to woo the girl-next-door away from her music teacher – Master Pillai (Mehmood).

Storyline: Four runaway crooks (Gopal, Madhav Singh ‘Madhu’ Ghai, Laxman, and Lucky) take shelter in a bungalow which is owned by a blind couple (Somnath and Mangala)

Directed by K. Raghavendra Rao, the movie stars Govinda, Johnny Lever, Juhi Chawla and Tabu, and is a must-watch. The movie is actually a remake of a Tamil film ‘Viralukketha Veekkam’ directed by V. Sekhar.

Storyline: The story is about three women who step out of their houses in look for a job in order to make ends meet. This act, however bothers their jobless husbands who will go to extreme lengths to stop them.
